With? Alone
Tas had left Sam with something unexpected through the night. Before leaving him to tend to the injured, Sam had said he would give her whatever she wanted with hopes of finding something he could do to reward her for all she was doing, and to his surprise the answer was that she wanted him. That answer gave him high hopes, it reinforced that what he was feeling for her could be something more. Maybe he was a little oblivious before about her feelings for him, but he was sure as hell on point with his own feelings for her, or at least he thought he was. Hell, he got jealous when Tas was hanging out with Connor all the time. He never had the courage to speak up or say anything before as it wasn't his place, but tonight it possibly confirmed that it was his place and he could do something about it. "You can do it, Sammy!" The voice inside his head said, encouraging himself. "The worst things that can happen are that you read the wrong signals and she can say no." There was still some trouble at the party, but it looked as if the bad times were healing quickly as the party was kicking up again. It was Nat's night, and he wished things had gone differently in the beginning, but without all the commotion and drama he wouldn't have been able to really hear Tas's feelings. So even though it was supposed to be Nat's day, Sam was going to make it his night.
Sam had left the party and made his way home. He was going to make the rest of Tas's night special when she was done. A special surprise dinner would have to do, it was Sam's specialty. Prepping his tools, he laid out the bowls, pots, pans, and knives accordingly and quickly scavenged for whatever ingredients he had in the fridge that was to Tas's liking. He ended up with some organic vegetables and heavy cream, thinking of the only and possible solution, pasta. "It'll have to do!" He shouted cheerfully. He was happy. He was going to do it tonight, he was going to tell Tas how he felt, there was no real reason why he couldn't. There was nothing in his way as he heard it from Tas's mouth. As he was chopping up the vegetables for his love pasta, the ringing and vibrating of his phone went off. He hoped it wasn't anyone from the party looking for him, he knew that he shouldn't have just upped and left without letting anyone know, but he was on a mission and he wanted to succeed. Without looking at the ID he quickly picked up the phone, "Hello?" "Sam?"
