This is the US Yamato, formerly the UNSS Cambodia.  It is a Cavalry Class Light Cruiser designed to punch through enemy lines and hit them from behind, which makes it perfect for pirates.  It has a landing bay which can carry 4 small ships, multiple missile tubes, rail guns, and plasma cannons, as well as a main particle beam cannon designed to break enemy shields.  It, of course, has dual-output shields which can be adjusted to block physical or particle impacts.
