In the year 2077, after millennia of armed conflict, the destructive nature of man could sustain itself no longer. The world was plunged into an abyss of nuclear fire and radiation. But it was not, as some had predicted, the end of the world. Instead, the apocalypse was simply the prologue to another bloody chapter of human history. For man had succeeded in destroying the world - but war, war never changes In 2277 the vault dweller, known as the lone wanderer, set out in search of their father who had escaped the vault. The wanderer experienced many a hardship to find their father, and when they did he was killed right in front of them. Escaping the Jefferson Memorial with Dr. Li, the two joined up with the Eastern Brotherhood of Steel and Elder Lyons. The Brotherhood and the Wanderer tried to fight the Enclave, but in the end failed and the wanderer, along with elder Lyons and the Eastern Brotherhood, fell at their hands. Now the Enclave are free to take back the Captiol Wasteland, the Commonwealth areas, and later America. However, without Project Purity at their disposal, the Enclave are at a standstill. Knowing they need more men and women to serve, they start recruiting Citizens of vaults and those who have remained uninfected by radiation. They are often seen wearing American Independence attire and carrying a Laser Musket.Their goal is to protect the people of the Commonwealth. They are led by President John Henry Eden, held up at RavenRock, an underground facility. The Institue's goals include destroying Pre-War Tech and improving Humanity. [b]The Railroad[/b] Flag: N/A Short Description: The Road are a group who fight to protect Synths, and will often wipe their memories and let them back into the Comminwealth, allowing them to live a normal life. The Railroad is a very secretive organization due to the hate of synths and the threat of the institute. Railroad members often change appearance to stay out of the public eye. The brotherhood often take civilians into thei ranks to aid their efforts to help the Wastes. However, after the death of Lyons and an Enclave victory at the Jefferson Memorial, the brotherhood has been broken and many have gone AWOL. Although the remnants of the Brotherhood still willing to serve fight the Enclave, they aren't close to their previous power. They don't care about the civilians to much and mainly the preservation of Pre-War tech.
