(Note, instead of a pair of blades he wields a pair of tonfa's instead.) Gutter is neither cute nor cuddly due to the mutations that he has undergone. In fact, his appearance is damn right scary and it isn't strange for him to have to run away because someone called the cops or a super on the 'monster' they saw stalking down the street.

[b]Origin Story:[/b]
Jacob Brown was once an ordinary if somewhat blessed person; He grew up in a loving family that could provide him with the basics required to live a happy life and become just about anything that he wanted to be if he had put his mind to it. He decided that he wished to follow in his father's footsteps and serve in the military from a very young age and when he was eighteen he enlisted as a chemical engineer (Basically a demo-man as he liked to tell people who asked him what he did). 

When he was nineteen however, a villain by the name of Professor Manhattan (Named after the Manhattan Project) decided to test out his latest invention; A device that triggered the genetic potential of an entire town at once to unlock any 'gifts' in their genes. The idea was to use the device to create a large amount of gifted individuals at once and let the chaos of the sudden influx of supers cover his activities.

Jacob was one of the 'winners' of the Professor's lottery; Several painful hours of having his body twist and turn and change itself, he had gone from being a solder by the name of Jacob Brown to a rat like creature that barely stood at half the height that he had before. Horrified at what he had become, Jacob fled into the night and hid in the chaos. 

The transformation shattered his mind somewhat, repressing much of his memories as a normal human. Abandoning the name Jacob in favor of the name Gutter, the newly born Gutter was trying to work out what he wanted to do with himself when he overheard a woman screaming nearby; A woman who was currently being suspended in the air by one of the new 'gifted' running around, a very unfriendly, hungry look in his eyes. 

Unwilling to let what was about to happen take place, Gutter jumped on the man's back and choked him out, freeing the woman and allowing her to flee untouched. Gutter didn't exactly know why, but saving that woman made him feel good; Real good. While that woman was the first person he saved that night, she wasn't the last.

 Gutter knew what he wanted to do with his life now. Such a shame that normal people made it so hard...
