[@Cuccoruler] With the world barren and turned back to it's original state from Cia's release of the monsters. The Merged began to create new life to inhabit the earth. Landon had retreated to the North, but continued to watch the Merged in their endeavors. The lives they created were sometimes very intelligent and helpful to the world and other times they just ate everything around them. Landon decided to create life as well. He wanted to create them in an area with which he was comfortable. He decided to make their beginnings in the North, where he had been spending most of his time when on Earth. He got the help of one of the Merged to unlock his powers for this task. He wasn't very creative, so he decided to use humans as a base for his new race. They would obviously need to be able to survive the freezing temperatures of the Arctic, so he came up with a few changes to their anatomy to correct for this. Their grey skin is thicker and gives off less heat than typical humans. As well as thicker hair that would trap more heat, and hair around their extremities where heat doesn't originate. He also gave them the ability to use extremely sensitive echolocation. They wouldn't always need thier eyes for things. In fact to detect where an object was located, echolocation worked better than eyes and in 360[sup]o[/sup] around the body. Their hands and feet also had claws in the end of them to help with grip, since even their fingers and toes were covered in fur. He also realized that fish was a primary resource in these parts. He gave them larger lungs and stronger respiratory systems than the humans had. As a result they were stronger than the humans as well. He was happy with his creation and created several hundred of them and left them to begin their families and lives. He named them the Tari and would help them occasionally to learn new things and how to survive and thrive. They soon even began to set out and meet other races. They made significant technological advances sharing the knowledge of other races and using it themselves. Even their encounter with a strange plantlike race turned out to be fruitful. They grew a few of them into adulthood, but once the plants ate a few of the botanists they realized their mistake in this. They quickly attacked the plants and killed them. They began eating parts of the plants and realized how good they were, and with so little vegetation in the North it would provide nutrients they desperately needed. They began to grow the plants in farms with warriors. Once the plants began to show signs of violence, they would kill it and sell it to be eaten. The worship of the gods was also important to the Tari. Landon was held in highest regard as their creator and the god of cold and darkness. Landon provided the moon for them every night and took it away every morning. He provided the cold for the north wind to spread down throughout the earth. The thirty years went by quickly and Landon was beginning to miss the company of the Merged as well. Not knowing where all of them were exacly he decided to begin with the Nexus. It seemed that place was becoming the main meeting spot for the Merged. He walked through his shadow again and reemerged in the Nexus the same as last time. As he entered he noticed it's emptiness. It was very serene when no wars or meetings were being held there. He soon noticed Cia was there as well. "Cia, you're back. I missed seeing you. Actually it seems like most of the gods have been off doing their own things. I was looking for Flemmings, but it's great to see you too. What have you been doing, and where have you been?"
