Marcus was ready this time though, feet planted firmly to keep from slipping as John rammed into him. "She wasn't yours in the first place". He snarled, bristling at the string of insults and threats. Twisting to the side a bit he slipped his shoulder up against John's chest to shove him back a pace. Staying put he watched John warily with his fists clenched at his side incase the guy took another run at him. He'd give him a chance to walk away before he hit him back. After all he was only human, only so much he'd tolerate.
