Benjamin Lloyd: Brewing Storm
"Well, saw that comin'." Lawnslot came to life with a sharp, loud report followed by a second to slow the swarm down a little, while Artorius' breech slid open. BASL's leader retreated a few steps to keep a little distance, while she grabbed a color-coded shotgun shell off his belt and slipped it into the breech. His weapons weren't really suited to dealing with such small Grimm, at least not efficiently enough for such a large horde. And neither Sangue nor Lauren were much better for it, and it wasn't like Amy could take out the whole group. Sooo it was time to even things up a bit. The close-knit stampede, damned Grimm scampering over each other in eagenerss to get to BASL, actually made them easy prey for the Lightning Dust round he'd loaded up earlier. Chain lightning was real good for swarms, and the metal floor'd ground the charge nicely once it left the swarm. It only took a few seconds to line up the shot with the densest part of the Grimm, and send the Dust round rocketing towards its target. Then he took several more steps away from the Grimm. He didn't particularly feel like getting mauled by rats.
