Well include whatever you want, how the people dress (nobles, middle-class/merchants, peasants), what they eat (popular dishes), if they have any customs (festivals, beliefs, certain mannerisms {for example, if shaking someone's left hand instead of their right, is considered an insult}), any lore or legends (tales that the people would know, possibly tell their children to scare them into being good), you can even include the history as to why Alenius was burnt to the ground, and rebuilt.
