Sabine joined in Peiter's laugh and gave him a friendly pinch. "Thank you, but Freida is very pretty and brave." Sabine glanced to Peiter's eyes and tightened her lips briefly, "But, maybe she was just waiting for [i]you[/i] to do something. A lot of girls seem to do that." Sabine's grin returned, "You took too long for me to wait." Sabine's comment of course oversimplified the situation between her and Peiter leading up to their relationship, but it was true that she eventually had to step across the line first. In her mind, anyway. The overreach in Fendros' attack brought his chest onto the end of Kaleeth's wooden sword. His momentum was stopped as he grunted in pain, while his sword only landed a superficial cut in return. "Good hit," Fendros remarked as he rubbed the spot where his first bruise of the evening would no doubt form. He raised his guard as he responded to Kaleeth, waiting for her to strike first this time. "How have I avoided moon sugar? Well, with great care. I normally get Ahnasha to taste test food for me.
