Azmaldus when he had finished his discussion with the queen remembered that he promised Nathan that he'd talk with him later. Anyone that knew him well would know that he had the honorable trait of keeping his promises. He made his way through the town looking for where Nathan lived. Then he spotted a house that wasn't that entirely popular and stood out for the most in the capital. He approached the house casually without concern for caution. Something inside of him was telling him that it was Nathan's house. He didn't know what it was, but he followed his instinct nonetheless. Approaching the door he took his hand balling it into a fist as he knocked on the door awaiting an answer from the person inside. He was pretty confident it was Nathan's house, but it if wasn't he'd apologize and continue to scout the area until he found it. He wasn't sure what Nathan's response would be to see him standing outside his door if it was indeed Nathan's house. He would ask him to invite him in so they could talk a little while. There were some things he needed to enlighten Nathan's mind about. Also, he remembered the promise he made to his old friend. Even though he felt it was none of his business, he had to honor his dying friend's wish. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Ranathia handed Meira her miniature sized Ethera Aria who was sleeping peacefully in her hand when she took her out of her bag she put her in. She must have had a long trip, but she wanted Meira to take her to her incubator in her study. She looked at Meira handing her Aria where Meira was overtaken immediately by a feeling of surprise which overwhelmed her body causing her to question, "Why are you giving me, Aria? Isn't she your personal Ethera and friend?" Stroking Aria's body like she was petting her while Ranathia shook her head giving the impression Meira had gotten the wrong idea. She wasn't giving her Aria. Ranathia wanted to start fixing supper and needed someone to go to her personal study and place Aria into the incubator. She was pretty sure from all that travel that even Meira was hungry and probably wanted something to eat before the sun started to set. It would satisfy Meira's hunger before she went outside to her own personal spot to enjoy the sunset from. It was a place that Meira always went to even when she was still a child. She found it strange why Meira was so interested in that place since she hadn't been in Windgrace for more than a span of five years. Perhaps something about the area Ranathia thought to herself was the reason Meira was so interested in it. That it probably reminded her of some moment when she was still with her biological mother Melianth. She would save asking her for another time. She was starting to hear her stomach growl like a tiger so she immediately got up nodded and smiled wide toward Meira saying to her as she made her way to the kitchen, "Please take Aria to her bed. She needs her rest after all that has happened today." When Ranathia disappeared into the kitchen, Meira used the force of her hands to pull herself out of her comfortable stage on the couch. She was hesitant to stand up, but Ranathia asked her to do a favor. She wasn't about to ignore her bestfriend's favor where she also took her index finger and stroked Aria. When she placed her fingertips to Aria's body she noticed she was very warm. It was relieving that Aria's body gave off such a comfortable relaxing sensation as Meira stood up onto her two feet then made her way toward two series of doors which lead downstairs. Unlike the other doors in the house, these two doors were air compressed and like the ones you'd usually see in facilities. Behind those two steel doors was an elevator which took her to the lower level of the house. An area which only Ranathia and her were allowed to be in. The security in the lower section was tight and made it very difficult to infiltrate when there were a series of lasers that were touch sensitive which would go off whenever there was an intruder that passed through them when they were active. Meira touched the keypad off to the side of the doors on the wall where a ding was heard. The doors opened widely allowing her to enter them. She pressed the very low button on the elevator where it started up and moved at steady pace down toward the lowest level of the house. When it reached the bottom, a slight sound could be heard as the elevator made contact with the surface. Afterward it dinged opening its large doors allowing Meira to step onto the tile flooring in front of her as she stood in the hallway. Noticing the sensitive lasers she carefully stepped over them as she approached the keypad which deactivated the touch sensitive laser sensitivity system. She placed her eyes on the optic scanner where it said on the screen in green letters approved. It then prompted her to place her hands on the next scanner that appeared which scanned for both fingerprint and genetic code. In doing so she had no problem getting the approved message to appear on the screen. The last was a voice sensitive code that had to be said by the people registered in the database. Only three people were registered and she was one of them. She said the password in the said expressed voice where the last approved appeared. The computer system then said inside the room over the speakers, "Good afternoon, Meira. Security systems in area are temporarily being deactivated. Once you vacate the area, security systems will resume their role." Meira walked down the long hallway until she approached the barrier that was in place to ward off intruders. Ranathia wasn't entirely confident the security system would safeguard from all intrusions so she had Siia install a barrier. The barrier made it look like there was a room without a door and a library could be seen inside it. Also, if you tried to approach the barrier Meira remembered without properly disengaging you'd wind up outside the house. The security systems installed were state of the art. Their functions made it difficult to pass through. There was really no way of passing through with the laser grid preventing access to the hallway ahead without stepping toward the side and utilizing your acrobatic talents of getting through the lasers that protected access to the device. Meira waited for all the sigils to align themselves before she palmed her hand out and said into the glyph that appeared with her mind the password. After she said the password part of the barrier opened up allowing entrance. The doorless room to the library disappeared and instead you could see a darkish purple portal in its place. The portal swirled around in the forcefield looking like it lead to somewhere. Those who didn't know the house very well had no idea where it lead to. Meira remembered she had to enter the portal while the barrier was partially down or she would wind up lost somewhere in some place unknown. With haste she made herself toward the portal then crawled inside it. She was shot through a dark like wormhole that looked like it wasn't going to end until she saw a bright light ahead which dropped her into a room outside with only one door that lead in. The portal disintegrated as she picked herself off the ground and opened the door toward Ranathia's personal study. Inside the room, several rows of shelves filled with books could be seen. Off to the side of the bookshelves were a series of racks with high technological equipment. Some were weapons while others were contraptions of some sort that Meira had no idea how to use. She looked around inside this new large room until she came across a large cylinder like object that had a black handle on it. She noticed blue strobe lights that flashed on the inside of it and a stasis tank with cushioning it that looked like some sort of bed. "This must be it." Meira said to herself as she reached her hand out and opened the door to it. She opened up the stasis tank placing Aria inside of it who was still sleeping peacefully. Meira looked at the girl as she adored how cute she looked, "She looks so cute. I wish I could have a pet Ethera." She said as she stroked Aria one more time and just couldn't stop thinking about how adorable she looked. "I can't get over how cute she really looks. She is just so damn adorable!" Meira obsessed over the Ethera as she was hesitant to close the door on the tank and the door on the incubator. Closing both she walked away from the incubator allowing Aria time to rest. When she was about to make her way out of the room she heard a sound. The sound she heard made her immediately stop where she was. This caused her to reach straight for her sword and brandish it into her hand. If there was an intruder in the room she would deal with them personally. Walking in the direction of where she heard the sound she yelled cautiously while taking a defensive stance, "Okay, come out! Whomever you are!" She yelled as she approached the area slowly. She followed the instinct of where the sound came from. She was pretty confident that she was walking in the right direction where a series of books were laying on the table. The cloaked figure that was reading the books noticed that they were spotted and immediately started to make their way out of the scene.
