Nathan was surprised when he heard the sound of someone knocking on his door. This has never happened before. Nathan had no social life, no one ever came to his house to see him. His curiosity overriding his reasoning, he got up and answered the door. He was further surprised when he saw that Meria's grandfather at his door "...um...hi?" He said in a questioning tone, as if he was asking if that was the right response, instead of greeting him. He was vaguely aware that there was supposed to be some sort of small talk before he came into his house. However, since he had no idea what that was, he just decided to skip it "do...do you want to come in?"
