And here's my attempt. He's lazy, casual, and often passive. He doesn't even particularly like fighting. If he could always have his way he'd do a whole lot of nothing. Instead he just does the what he has to and not a thing more. Only in extreme circumstances will he ever convince himself to go the extra mile. Despite seeing himself as powerful he doesn't consider using his full power unless lives are on the line, otherwise he's perfectly content losing a fight just to avoid exerting any kind of effort. Attacking his pride or attempting to humiliate him is utterly useless, though a decent way to anger Odinn is to use threats. He can retain his calm and lazy attitude while kicking ass and he knows it, but he also knows that he can control his anger. It only becomes motivation to actually try. And nobody facing Odinn will ever truly want that. History:: The early life of Odinn Wierike is rather unremarkable. He was born and raised in Luna Crescente, his parents being fairly prosperous merchants. The success of his family is what many believe to be the reason for his present day laziness. Anyways, it wasn't discovered that he had magic until the dark day when a Dark Guild waged war on Harpy's Wing in the middle of the city. Ultimately it cost his family their lives in the chaos, but the silver lining was Odinn's new Rift Magic. The ability to create portals was initially perceived as something more like a parlor trick. Even after he joined Harpy's Wing, choosing the older guild over the newly formed Golem's Hand, many didn't respect a teenage Odinn for both his laidback nature and seeming lack of power. It wasn't until he started getting creative out of boredom did anyone see the true potential of his Rift Magic. It wasn't just useful, it was powerful. He could complete jobs by himself with minimal effort. Enemies couldn't touch him and were little more than toys for his amusement. His personality didn't change but respect began to come his way after due diligence. Odinn may be lazy, but he's strong and reliable. He never picked any fights himself and not many want to fight him at all. His laziness could result in an opponent being sent halfway across the world just so Odinn could save time and avoid fighting them. Everyone came to know that and he eventually was considered an S-rank wizard. Now he spends his time doing missions every now and then but mostly lounging at the guild hall and seeing how many drinks he can get for free.
Magic
Magic Name:: Rift Magic Description:: The creation and manipulation of portals, known as Rifts due to their physics-breaking traits and their other-worldly appearances. These Rifts can be made to an incredible size and used at incredible distances, making this a very powerful magic. Rifts cannot be closed while a living creature is inside them, but they can force said living creature to go either all the way through or not go through at all depending on how far into the Rift their body is. Objects, however, can have Rifts closed on them. One cannot look through a Rift to see on the other side, as all Rifts have a "spacey" appearance of pure black with specks of white "stars" across them. Rifts can only be entered from one side, the un-enterable side has no "stars" to make a visual distinction. Rifts, even after they have been formed, can be moved and re-sized to add further utility or versatility. Traveling between Rifts is instantaneous, akin to teleportation, though moving a Rift itself is not nearly that fast. The size of the Rifts and the distance between them determines how much magic it takes to create and operate them, but they are fairly efficient to use in general allowing liberal creation in combat scenarios. While he can create a lot of them with little consequences it does require a certain amount of focus to do so. Stress, or any suitable distraction, greatly hinders Odinn's Rifts. Their placement, size, and shape take a hit if he doesn't pay attention to what he's doing or if he panics. Known Spells::
*These are more like techniques than unique spells, as Rift Magic is fairly straightforward and relies on creativity rather than distinctive and specific uses.* World Range Travel - The most [s]lame[/s] basic use of Rift Magic. Odinn creates one Rift near himself and the other at the approximate location of where he wants to be. Since it goes on Odinn's memories and knowledge the second Rift isn't the most accurate but getting a free and easy trip across a continent is nothing to complain about even if you have to walk a few blocks after you get out of the Rift. World Shattering Dome - Dozens of Rifts surround Odinn in a dome while an identical dome surrounds his enemy. This allows Odinn to send attacks into the small Rifts around him which in turn come from random and unpredictable angles around his opponent. While they can strike back through Rifts they don't have the same advantage as Odinn as he knows which Rifts are linked to each other and is better equipped to avoid their counter-attacks. The Rifts are too small to completely go through and are packed closely enough together that this also serves as a way to trap an enemy, though it also traps Odinn in the same manner. World Fleeting Dome - Similar to the above plan, the enemy is surrounded by dozens of Rifts. However these Rifts are larger and linked to each other. This is a trapping technique, keeping them in the confines of the dome. Only attacks or spells that can fit between the gaps of the Rifts (or go through the ground) can make it through. If caught on someone in mid-air then they will be perpetually flung between the various Rifts thanks to gravity and physics, while also cutting off another potential escape route. World Roundabout Escape - One Rift is created near Odinn and the other near his opponent. The Rift near his foe will then move towards the foe, to force them to be teleported through it, while Odinn times an attack on his end so as to catch them the moment they come through with a charged-up punch or kick. Alternatively this can just be used to keep opponents from running away. World Wide Caging - By creating dozens of Rifts in a circle along the ground, Odinn will create large pillars of stone to surround the battlefield. These can cut off escape or work in conjunction with World Crushing Cataclysm by creating an aboveground man-made lake. The pillars' height is variable, but can easily be upwards of 100m. Much higher if Odinn wants, but beyond that is just plain excessive. World Ending Wave - The most deviant of the Rift Magic arsenal, one Rift is created facing an opponent while the other is created at a microscopic size inside of Odinn himself. The Rift inside him serves as a magnifying glass for his ethernano, allowing him to create a pressurized blast of pure magic from the other Rift. This "laser" of magic is quite powerful but it is also quite taxing to use. This is hands-down the least cost effective spell Odinn has and he won't be able to use it much more than once or twice in a battle, and that's being generous.

Other
(Add anything else you'd like to this section as it's all optional) Relatives:: Odinn's parents have passed away, but he has two cousins that live in the capital of Fiore, Crocus. Identical twins Mara and Maya are his younger, teenage cousins. They are not magically adept or fighters in any way, but they enjoy watching wizards use magic. Ironically they think Odinn is lame and refuse to believe that he is truly S-class, but they also have seen very little of his skill. Something that is Odinn's choice but he doesn't care enough either way. Possessions:: Odinn doesn't really own much. Not even a place of his own. The lazy bastard lives at Harpy's Wing. The only thing in his possession besides clothing is a dictionary, for the express purpose of looking up random words to irritate the people around him.
