Fendros had stepped back far enough that Kaleeth's weapon did not connect, and she was quite off balance with how far she leaned forward. As such, her parry to his horizontal slash was less than ideal. He still ended up nicking her bicep, though it was not a solid enough of a hit to end the bout. His overhead strike was fairly easy for her to block, and afterwards, she backed off slightly while keeping her sword touching his just enough to try and feel his next move. "I wouldn't mind staying in Bruma, honestly. It's colder than I like, but it is a safe place, and we have friends there. And the Ayleid city is very comfortable and secure. It's just, I would like to actually be able to stay there. I don't want to have to worry about going out on patrols or missions. I don't want to have to worry about fending off lycan hunters working for Vile. Everything has been fine so far, but...you never really know what is going to happen. What if we end up in a fight that's too much for us? Or what if Janius goes out on a patrol and never comes back? What if this mission goes wrong and none of us make it? Even if Newt ends up being fine, I can't bear to think of what any of that would do to him. Having a family just makes me see how much danger we're all always in." Kaleeth answered.
