Blood-Flu prequel RP Introduction--- The Chicago Metropolitan area has been inundated with a number of cases of an unknown virus which appears to be altering many of those who survive. And those that don't are much more dangerous. Quarantine was quickly imposed and a wall is being erected to keep the infection in. For reasons unknown, nuclear cleansing requests for the area have been denied. Already, the few survivors are banding together and forming fighting groups, the foundation of a post apocalyptic civilisation. It has been 98 days since quarantine was imposed. You are one of the lucky, or unlucky depending on how you want to look at it, survivors. Goal: The primary objective is clearly to survive. Beyond that what are your goals? Do you wish to establish yourself as the QZ's best hunter? Or perhaps you wish to build a village and return to some sense of normalcy? Or perhaps you simply want to be left alone? Make your mark on this fledgling world. This is intended to be a survival RP. The blood-flu is a mutagenic virus, which turns the afflicted into vampires. There are four stages of the virus, during which it may be successfully fought off by the hosts immune system, and then there is the post-Mortis stage, where the undead host thirsts without ever being satiated, enhanced strength and endurance making them a threat to normal humans, but not as great a threat to the survivors of Blood-Flu. The vampires that are able to get control of their thirst are the greatest threat to the undead, with enhanced strength, endurance, and other enhancements to combat the menace.
