[@kishin asura][@supertinyking] This was really strange. A city devoid of a populace? Why then would some devil somewhere far off want to destroy it? Mithias stopped as he realized nobody was around. If he had still been a vampire, he would have easily sensed the lack of heartbeats and bloodscent, but that thirst no longer accompanied him. Oh well. It wasn't like he ever went out drinking with friends anyway. Out of the corner of his eye, he caught the image of a blonde girl running off between the buildings. It was probably that Maka girl that Asura liked so much. Maybe she thought Mithias was one of the enemies and decided to flee. True, Mithias was potentially intimidating, but wasn't he human now too? Did he still seem so monstrous with his soft hands and warm skin? He sighed inwardly. Even being alive again won him no affection. A clang of metal sounded above. It looked like Asura was keeping the robot busy for now. Mithais decided to chase after the girl. As he ran after her, the sense of reliving the past still haunted him. It was irksome, as if something were trying to get his attention. Why was life so unreal? Had he died in that battle on Tor 6, or had he been in a coma since his first walk through a portal in Hawaii? Devils and hydras and the slaughter scene of Adam's office, becoming human again? What about that green-suited guy on the clone ship? Yeah, he was probably insane. For some reason, this time, it didn't seem pointless. He'd chase Maka and accept his role with innocence and calm, perhaps even with curiosity. He wanted to meet her and ask her some questions. Supposedly, she could fight, so maybe she'd be useful against that ridiculous robot. "Maka!" Mithias called and slowed down when she turned back to look at him. "Kind of odd to be living in an abandoned city. Don't you think?"
