I've been waiting for someone to ask since Ive been less than thrilled with the ambiguous excuse for their immunity which is never elaborated upon...to the point of using magic to excuse the effectiveness of melee. (Why would there be a 'Weapon' section if weapons did nothing? (I assumed there would eventually be enemies where weapons mattered...but then what about characters without damaging magic until then?)) [/quote] Elaborating on this, there's no distinguishing features or details about magic to why magic is able to hurt them. I mean, you could stab a Youkai with a sword, or with a big spiky thorn you created using your magic, but at the end of the day it's still just a stab wound.
