I can answer for Kat.

Those firearms? They're mostly for distractions and whatnot. I never intended for them to be a major play in her arsenal. Distract, stun. Plus, she [i]does[/i] have magic, which she will use to the fullest extent of her abilities. She's just a military girl and loves her guns and likes using them because it makes her feel warm and fuzzy inside. She however, also realizes her guns probably aren't going to do much to stop a youkai. Especially if said youkai is made out of steel or something that's not flesh/stronger than flesh.

The only one of her firearms I see doing any sort of damage, is if she shoots something in the face with her Shotgun. And even then, I doubt it'll do much.

And I have no problem with any of this, since it's the way I intended for it to be.
