Name: Carnelian

Gem: A round, polished carnelian cabochon.

Gem Location: Forehead

Emotional Strength: Compassion
Emotional Weakness: Uncertainty of herself- this can make fusion difficult, among other things

Weapon: Can summon wings along her arms, but has no actual weapon.

Personality: Carnelian is a skittish, shy and easily-scared gem, but is also curious and asks questions of beings she's sure won't kill her. She can eat things in small amounts and doesn't mind, but is nothing like the pig Amethyst is. Likes lighthearted games designed for kids like tic-tac-toe and hopscotch and stuff like that. Hates violence, perhaps surprisingly, being a kind of quartz. If she makes friends, she finds it very hard work to leave them alone. Anyone she decides is a friend will therefore probably have a little carnelian following them everywhere. She is also a real worrier, and frets excessively at the smallest sign of someone being hurt.  

Other: The idea behind her is that she was supposed to be created as a field medic of sorts, following the real soldiers into battle and healing them if they get hurt in combat. She is currently unaware of her ability to summon wings, cannot heal herself, and both herself and her "patient" must believe that the healing will work.
