Never was a fan of the original RoboCop. Not entirely sure why, maybe the satire was a bit too blatant and thrown in my face. Then again, I liked Starship Troopers so... yeah. I do enjoy most of Verhoeven's films, though.

With that said, I thought the new RoboCop was better than the original, making for a decent action flick. If nothing else, Kinnaman delivers a much better performance as RoboCop than Weller did (don't hit me).

As for 300, it is both brilliant and brain-dead action as far as I'm concerned.
