Jack looked back at him quickly, spooked by his sudden appearance. His revolver let out another round as he jumped, causing him to drop it, and hold his ear due to the loud ringing. "R-Right....sorry, Sheriff, I just kind of forget sometimes, y'know?" He bent down, picked up the revolver, and placed it back in it's holster. "At least I'm a good shot with a Winchester....but I suppose anyone can be." Jack gently placed the bowler back on his hat and approached Sheriff Mullins. "The boys we got locked up in the cells didn't cause any trouble last night and everything appeared to be in order this morning, sir." Reporting everything was something that Jack was very inclined to do, just to give the job of Deputy a more..."formal" type of work, which suited him just fine.
