You had androids, yoikai that looked like fish and tiger melded together, along with a god that could basically be the rendition of an eldritch abomination... Then again, that might be the norm here, especially with 100+ year old charries having a possible thing for 15 year old lolis, tsunderes, a girl/boy making poor decisions with their life... ignore the last two, those actually happen a lot in anime.
