Name: Holly Cerise

Personality: Holly, the leader of the team has an extremely alpha type personality. She is always willing to lend a hand and is constantly concerning herself with the needs and thoughts of others. Though she denies it at every given opportunity – she has a good heart. Due to Holly’s poor upbringing she is very gracious to any charity given to her and always tries to share whatever she has been given with her team – as their similar backgrounds put them in similar positions. 

While Holly was not the team member who truly wanted to become team HERO, she finds herself more and more excited by the prospect of becoming a huntress – Rowen’s excitement imbuing her with a sense of wanderlust. Holly typically exudes a tomboyish attitude as she cannot help but find herself exerting a dominant and very mindful attitude around her teammates.  She has been known to issue threats to opponents though typically their rather meaningless.

Holly handles negative emotions by not handling them. A strong enough emotion would cause her to cry – though it hasn’t happened since HERO was proposed. She keeps this strong exterior in order to assure her teammates that they will no longer return to how they used to live and will one day reap profits large enough to bring their family and friends – what remains of them – out of the poverty their stuck in.

Armament: Holly wields a spear named Gungnir. She utilizes it for both attacking and mobility as she – using her semblance can control the spear – its movements, altitude and other proprieties. Her general fighting style involves leaving stronger enemies to Rowan and Ophelia while chasing down weaker links by riding her spear. She would then (assuming success) rejoin the rest of her team in order to sweep the remaining combatants. This tactic is generally carried out the same in her battles against Grimm. 

Semblance: Holly’s semblance is enchantment of objects. By touching an inanimate object that is in contact with nothing but Holly herself; she can control it’s movements like a puppet on a string. This derives from Holly’s ability to rally people to a cause and her overall zeal as a commander and leader of HERO.

Holly stands at about five feet and eight inches and is clearly physically toned. She spends a lot of her time working out and it shows.

Personality: Esme (pronounced ez-me) is one of the quietest members of the group. She doesn’t speak very often and when she does she doesn’t mince words. Those whom have come to know Esme as an ally and friend know her through her actions. The only person she does speak to - and even then very quietly – is her pet wolf. His name is Fenrir and when Rowan and Holly first met Esme she and Fenrir were fighting off a couple of Grimm together. This struck Holly as particularly [s]awesome[/s] heroic and thusly she and Rowan recruited Esme to their cause.

Esme loves spicy food and detests anything too mild. In combat she pats Fenrir in order to have him bark out their position when it is needed and mostly receives orders, though she is not mute and can speak when necessary – she just prefers not to.  Esme is used to living on the streets as the small town she lived in was destroyed by Grimm. She enjoys being charitable and is often the cook of team HERO.

Esme and Fenrir share a deep bond as Esme rescued Fenrir from a testing facility. They would risk their lives for one another and do not fear putting themselves in danger.

Armament: Esme’s fighting revolves around Fenrir. He is a very strong wolf and she is easily able to ride on his back and utilize him as a mount of sorts. Fenrir comes equipped with a collar that when he howls utilizes dust implanted into either side of the collar to send out waves of water, create ripples in the earth, etc. Esme herself has a few throwing knives that she can utilize with a great degree of effectiveness – even at a full sprint atop Fenrir.

Semblance: Esme’s semblance is shared senses. Though not for lack of trying Esme’s semblance only seems to work with Fenrir. She and her wolf can share each other’s senses in order to form a nearly telepathic bond that requires no additional dialogue or thoughts in combat. She wills the wolf to move and he does, he senses danger and she does as well. This is derivative of her personality because of how much she relies on Fenrir and her deep bond with him.

Esme stands at about five feet and three inches while Fenrir comes up to about four and a half on all four legs. The wolf weighs nearly two hundred pounds and can easily pounce onto a grown man taking him to the ground.

[hider=Rowan Regal]Name: Rowan Regal

Sex: Male

Personality: Rowan doesn’t typically stick his nose up at much. He is used to feeling like he is worth nothing more than dirt. This was his reason for creating team HERO with Holly. Rowan is by far the most serious of the team members and though Holly doesn’t like to admit, they all look up to him. It is with this sureness that Rowan leads his life. Every decision he makes is a dedicated one if not always correct. But above all else Rowan is a man of his word and refuses to back down from a promise – no matter how painful. 

Rowan was born into serious poverty in Atlas that only got worse when his family uprooted themselves for hope of a better life in Vale. Because of this Rowan is extremely loyal to Holly, Esme, and Ophelia. Because when he knew no one else they took him in.

He likes knock knock jokes, puns and steak. 

Rowan’s ultimate goal is to create more affordable living situations in Atlas for people in need like he was. He wishes to do this by becoming a legendary Hunter and reaping great financial rewards from this.

Armament: Rowan fights using a longsword named Tyrfing. Its ability is twofold. He fights in a strictly defensive format that is solely counters. That is because utilizing lightning and earth dust Tyrfing is able to jolt the holder of clashing weapons and block incredibly hard blows with the use of earth dust. Its second ability is one that requires preparation. If Rowan is able to store enough of his aura in the blade he is able to activate its second ability allowing for incredibly rapid movement for a brief period of time. This is typically used to surprise the opponent due to his slow and steady fighting style without this ability.

Semblance: Rowan is able to draw Aura from any willing source around him by channeling it around himself. This ability is derivative from his personality in the way that he borrows the strength of those around him in order to help team HERO and progress as a huntsman. While Rowan can use this ability on enemies he is fighting it will cause them to feel a pull on their aura and simply channeling their own aura would negate his ability to take it from them.

Name: Ophelia Aster

Personality: Ophelia is bar none the kindness member of HERO. When Rowan and Holly found Ophelia she was giving food to the poor in Atlas, wearing an elegant dress. They took her for a noble who looked down on the poor, something there was an abundance of in Atlas. Though when a sick young girl who seemed to have some sort of cold approached Ophelia she dutifully removed her socks, scarf and jacket and put them around the girl. It was a particularly cold night that night. 

Ophelia joined HERO without a second thought. Before being approached by Rowan and Holly she hadn’t really considered becoming a huntress, however once the idea was sprung on her she couldn’t say no. Ophelia finds herself most commonly looking after everyone as they tend to be a little too reckless. She finds herself in the ‘funding and marketing’ department of HERO as she is still rather well off and knows how to speak to those of higher social status without making them want to throw the team out of a hotel.
Ophelia’s favourite foods are something sour. She tends to enjoy the nighttime the most as she believes the stars to beautiful and enjoys tending to a garden of primarily blue flowers.

Armament: Ophelia’s weapon is a long staff that stands at about five feet tall, just five inches shorter than Ophelia herself. She can utilize the staff in a fight well enough but she primarily keeps the staff around in order to use it to channel her semblance. Its name is Dáinsleif and it has a small blue flower coming out of it towards the top of the staff. Her fighting style is typically slowing or debilitating stronger combatants with the use of her semblance in order for Rowan or Holly to pick them off, however she can also default into a typical ranged or close combat fighter, she is very versatile in that regard.

Semblance: Ophelia’s semblance can utilize her aura in order to control nature itself. She can cause roots to come up from beneath the earth and strike at foes, cause a rushing stream to take an opponent away, or even cause a tree to sprout rapidly out of the ground where an opponent or even Ophelia stands. She does this by channeling her aura into the earth, the growth she causes is also permanent once the growth has occurred it will be there for as long as its life span should dictate. This is derivative of her personality as she is literally giving her protection in order to cause life to spring up from the ground or wherever her staff is pointing. Similar to the way in which she would give the shirt off her back to those in need.

Ophelia stands five feet and five inches tall and has a slim but muscular build. Her hair reaches her upper back.
