Marie looked at Oleg for a bit, studying the Golett as his human described it's location but only after giving a cute little waving response back to Rook. "I see. Never been out that way nor have I heard of Hotel Marine Snow." She giggled a little bit. He seemed to be trying hard at whatever her was doing. "But, Golett's seem like interesting little guys. I just escaped from a swarm of Combe--." It didn't seem like it was intentional, but she was interrupted by this random boy that arbitarily decided he wanted to challenge the boy with the Golett. It seemed annoying, so Marie really just wanted to get out as fast as she could. Pokemon battles weren't necessarily bad, Marie just didn't feel Ralts was up to it after the Combee incident. This new boy also didn't seem like the type to take no for an answer. "Well, looks like a friend arrived. Catch you around later maybe." The girl picked up Ralts and ran off in the direction of Lumiose but not before turning around, "Name's Marie, by the by." With that she made her quick escape. Really, it didn't take as long as she thought to reach Lumiose. She'd been to the city before, but the incident before must have made her travel further than she thought. "Well, I just glad we're at a place where we're not going to be chased by some flying Bug pokemon." Ralts mumbled a reply with a slight sigh, feeling its trainer's thoughts. "Well, we just need to deliver these letters I guess. Since I don't know who this mystery 'L' character is, I can't exactly report to them can I?" Ralts shook its head, "To Alexa's place I suppose." It took a little walking around to get her bearing, but soon enough Marie found herself in familiar territory. "Right! If we take a right here and walk a little. . . "There!" Marie excitedly shouted with encouragement from the Ralts sitting in her arms. Lumiose Press was on a giant sign signaling the end of their journey to Alexa. Before they could enter the building though, a man in a brown coat walked out and stared at Marie for a few seconds. "Would you happen to be Marie?" His accent was slightly off, but nothing that sounded too weird. The girl nodded, confused. "That would be me. Why do you ask?" "I need that letter addressed to 'L' you have there." Marie looked at him skeptically for a second, prompting him to give her a confused look. Apparently it didn't take him too long to figure out why, "Well, I sure you were told that someone would know you would have the letter. I even know the name on it." Marie kept her stare on him for another few seconds before simply sighing and handing over the letter. "Thank you. For you. . ." Marie recieved a small envelope from the man before he slipped away. Curious now, she opened up the little thing to discover quite the sum of money. Rather than happy, her face was utterly dumbfounded. "Ralts, did I hand over the key to some new car or something?" Ralts stared at its trainer for a little bit before shaking its head. "No, you're right. That was just a letter. . . This isn't dirty money. . . Is it." Shaking that horrid thought away she pocketed the envelope and heading into Lumiose Press with as much a happy face as she could. Throught the front door one could see there were a lot of desks and people working at about half of them. Amongst the entire group there was one Marie recognized. In fact, the one had bags under her eyes as if she'd been up since the night before typing. Carefully, Marie walked over the the woman, "Alexa. Hello? Do you remember me?" The journalist tensed up for a second before coming out of her heavy focus. "Wha-? Oh, is that Marie from Santalune? Long time no see! What can I do for you?" The woman pushed her wheelie chair out from under her desk and moved it so her computer-screen were not in the way of seeing Marie. Common courtesy things. "I don't want to take up much of your time, but your sister wanted me to deliver this to you." Marie informed the journalist. "And your sister will pay me when I get back so don't worry much. . ." In a whispered tone she added, "My other job payed much more than I anticipated." "Sorry about this. If I were any more awake than I am, I would show you around a bit." Alexa added pulling her chair back into her desk setting hands to the keyboard. "Catch me next time!" "It's not a problem." Marie offered as a kind remark before heading out the door. "Now then. I don't think we could make it back to Santalune before the sun sets, so maybe we should wander around town for a little bit before we find Dad's place." With agreement from Ralts the two set off exploring the Big City. Still, Marie was surprised at how calm the city was. Sure, Santalune was calm, but pretty much everyone knew each other and it was rather small. But this city was quite large. With little else to do, she wandered around for a bit.
