What fate waited them in this land beyond the thin veil of crimson?
The Lake

Just as Jun arrived, he would noticed the well known fact that the 'lake' was more like a glorified artificial pond. In fact, it was shallow enough that even at its deepest parts, it didn't went bellow the waist-height of an average sized citizen. The margins, demarked by a fancy fence, had several wooden benches lined along a cobbled lane that encircled the whole structure, which was shaped like a pear 100 meters long at the widest spot and 200 meters across the main axis. A couple of public restrooms, a few fountains and the eventual selling machine complete the scenario of the number one place for outdoor activities in the park. However, Jun wouldn't have much time to spend admiring the view, since the reported lights were once again dancing over the mist at right about teh center of the lake. They seemed to be describing an interesting patern, as a group raised and the other went back to the water's edge. No smell or discernike sound came from them, and they seemed to be oblivious of Jun's presence for the time being, eaving the outcome of this encounter complelety at Cryoslinger's hands.

The Playground

Just as Kat into the playground, which wasn't an area dedicated only to the enfants of Sonomachi, since it had a number of public chess tables and even board game sets that one could borrow from the park's administration. However, the main attractive of the playgroubd would be the ever populat swings, laying right between the sandbox and a couple of centuries old ginkgos, the ones here were built to last with the best steel available half a century amd as an estatement of their quality, they were still functional even to this day. A little greasing every now and then, though would be good to tone down the madening creak produced by the rainbow painted contraptions. Kat would notice that (despite the lack of wind) the swings were indeed, well... swinging as if something, or someone were playing with them at this late hour. A light sob filled the still air and before Kat could react, a veritable tsunami of sand washed over her, pushing with the expected weitgh of such a mass, before taking the shape of a six feet wide mass, faintly resembling a very popular pink character that proceed to try to, erm... hug Havoc Aegis? What the hell was happening here?

The Shell

Kazuki arrived at the shell, just a little time after his companion would get to their destinations, since it was the point that laid farthest to the main gate. In fact, it wasn't as much an acoustic shell as it was an amphitheater, with rolls of seats that could easily accomodate a thousand expectators to whatever performance would be held at the Greek inspired building. A bust of Plato (based of the famous depiction shown in The School of Athens, by Raphael) featuring one of his most famous quotes from The Republic —"the beginning in every task is the chief thing"— laid right besides the aisle that lead straight to the backstage entrance. A moment after Kazuki set his feet at the shell, a voice, as ethereal as the atmosphere of this ghostly night sounded at the stage, singing in a faintly childish tone, a song that's perhaps known to all no matter where in the world do you happen to live. It seemed to be coming out of nowhere, though the only other abnormal thing about the whole place was what looked like a plush bunny dropped by the center of the stage. What would happen from now on was Mosaic Soul's choice, however.

Sonomachi City - Seaside Freeway
BGM
After a heated discussion that inevitably led to Rui-Ling trading blows with some of the low grunts of the Jackets, Suzumebachi stepped in cracking his knuckles "Yo, Cow Lick, if you wanna us to do something you'd better do it like always, but I warn you, bozo, this time a surprise for ya!" And so he did, as Suzumebachi revealed right as they arrived at the junction leading to the freeway, this time he somehow managed to snag a Suzuki Hayabusa (AKA the fastest production motorcycle in the world at her time), and was way too sure of his chances of victory now that he had one of those. However, before he and Ling could dash off to their highspeed battle, at the track that was known to be way too dangerous because of the trucks driving away at crazy speeds and the winding nature of the road, a voice, female at it said, sounding way too pissed off that someone had interrupted her, erm... bonding with her... girlfriend? "Can you please cut that? I'm trying to treat my girlfriend here, by all that's sacred." The girl said, "but if you insist, we can join your game as well. In fact, if you lose this race, I believe you'll be so ind as to tell us what's happening with your lot these days, not?" Anyone who knew of the Chaser currently on Sonomachi would know of Haruka and Kiaraand of the first ill spoken power of compelling others with her words as well as of her shrewdness, if Haruka was here something must have happened behind the stage. Or perhaps, was she really just trying to get some with her girlfriend when some bastards broke her mood, who knows? The only certain thing is that as the last couple of competitors for this lawless race lined in their own sports motorcycle was that this would be one hell of a grand prix. "By the way", Haruka said to Rui-Ling, using her power nonetheless, just as beginning of the the race was signaled by one of the Jacket's girls, "isn't your fly open?" Certainly something he'd like to check, unless he liked the breeze, not?
