[@Loony] Haha that could also be why.  It's funny you should mention that African Greys are also known to be good talkers because that one was also known to greet customers, which probably led to some irritating situations for employees because kids would always want to say hello back.  There was also one of those beautiful red parrots that you see in drawings of rainforests.
