[b]Background:[/b] Tori had always been a sickly child, forced to stay in bed and only dream about what normal kids could do. Run around, play catch, all that stuff. Instead of that, though, all Tori could really do was watch TV, read books, and even play video games when she was feeling better. The only friends she had were her parents, occasional birds that flew onto her windowsill when she put crumbs there, and her hamster June. 

Ultimately, however, before her 18th birthday, her condition took a turn for the worse. Tori was rushed to the hospital, but there was nothing anyone could do. Before too long, she died. Fortunately for her, she was given a second chance at life in the form of the reincarnation screen. She had made her new appearance as close to her original as possible while also making it fit her ideal form of herself. She had even put in her own name; after all, it was her name. All that was left was to push the "Finalize" button.
