So far everything had been going better than expected. Klisa was feeling fine for the time being, and Ceri seemed about as relaxed as she ever got in situations like this. The festival was full of energy but it wasn't overly loud yet, perhaps as the festivities lingered on and people became more drunk or more folks arrived to the enjoy themselves it would grow to unbearable levels of noise and crowd, but for the time being She could handle this. Especially with her friends by her side. But it seemed the pleasantness wasn't meant to last. First they came across their guilds devil slayer, who had frozen a frozen treat vendor and was helping herself to the treats. Yeah she probably actually bought them all, but stripping down like that, making an opulent ice throne and freezing a man over slating her elemental hunger. Granted, Klisa herself understood the demands of having a deep rooted elemental hunger, sometimes it could be quite a powerful craving. but luckily it wasn't hard to find water here in crescent valley. Even if it was fresh water. Even so, this was a repeat offense, and lord knows that this was probably the worst place for someone from her guild to start causing trouble. She welcomed Ceri closer to her as Mis began her chiding of their overly rambunctious guild mate. Klisa herself had grown more accustom to Mis's level of out bursts in the 5 years she had spent at the guild. And with the almost two years they had Ceri as a part of their little crew this sort of situation had been fairly normal. Ceri fining shelter from Mis's outbursts behind the more comfortable and quite Klisa. Klisa certainly didn't mind Ceri being comfortable being close to her that was for certain. But thing went from bad to worst. Vega. A Golem hand guild member, and someone who apparently took joy in tormenting Ceri from time to time. As Ceri took a more full position behind Klisa, Klisa herself made sure she was between Vega and Cari, one arm out stretched to her side giving her a defensive almost possessive stance in front of the hooded girl. She had promised herself that she wouldn't let anyone mess with Ceri on her watch, and if the slime ball so much as spent a harsh word on her friend there would be hell to pay. her glare was unintentionally harsh and her teeth gritted, the canine teeth starting to grow more fang like in response to her ire and rising draconic magic. Which was of course not at all helped by the appearance of Sunny. Sunny had never done anything bad to either of them, not that she could prove at least...but she certainly didn't like his presence or they why he looked at Ceri. At this point Klisa was all but ready to toss our her sea dragon roar, grab Ceri by the hand and start halling ass. But luckily for all involved it seemed cooler heads would prevail. Sunny left on his own accord and another Golem hand member seemed to scare off Vega. The tension left her body swiftly with a long slow sigh, which produced a small misty puff that smelt of summer sea air. At this point the suggestion of food sounded great. She gave Ceri a small smile and nodded her head "Sounds like a good plan to me. Mis, shall we head to the food stand together, or shall we go start looking while you talk with Ria?"
