Battlefield Survival Guide for Dummies
Then suddenly there were friends. Almost all at once three other people approached her... well two people, the third guy was... uh a thing? Sonia stood there not exactly sure how to respond, she rubbed the back of her neck trying to think of something to say. Taking stock of the group, well first there was a gunner of some sort, and he actually looked competent which boded well honestly. He had a musket which meant they did have ranged fighting power, neat. Second, compared to the gunner the girl didn't look like much, pretty meek and that axe didn't appear to be all that lethal, then again it wasn't like Sonia was one to talk. Finally... um... Sonia had no goddamn idea what she was looking at. It was short, and looked like a tiny demon... thing. Fortunately she was convinced it was sentient, and friendly in the most basic sense. Yay? The catgirl realized she was just staring at them before clearing her throat. "Uh." She slowly started. "Guess we're all friends by circumstance, so that's good." Sonia glanced towards the distant army converging on their position, they were definitely getting closer, much closer moving at a terrifying rate, then she looked back at the other army. It was the same deal. She sighed, they really needed to do something about this and so far it seemed like no one was taking charge, she had a feeling a group like this would quickly fall apart without leadership. Never in her life has she tried to be a leader, maybe sometimes lead a small project, but nothing major. The thing is she really wanted to reinvent herself like to the point of becoming a freaking catgirl. With her mind made up Sonia waved her hand to bring everyone's attention back on her, you know if their attention happened to wander somewhere else. "I say staying here would be a bad idea, if these corpses mean anything those armies are probably not friendly. I got no idea where we are, but running anywhere seems like the best bet."
