After a stressful Christmas, Yutaro was ready to just throw caution to the wind and have a crazy night. He was definitely looking forward to seeing Ryoki at the ball, but the two of them had already agreed that telling each other what they were dressed like would ruin the fun and mystery of the event. While the idea of Ryoki dancing with -- and perhaps kissing -- another man, he had to admit that little things like that were the point of a game like this. Don't worry about who's who, and just have a good time; that's how he would play the game tonight and he wouldn't hold any grudges no matter what happened. It was a glamorous event, and everyone strictly upheld the dress code, the room reminding him of a chess board with all the blacks and whites strewn about. Men and women were already dancing, but he wondered how many of them were truly upholding their vows of anonymity. Yutaro particularly enjoyed the cape that accompanied his tuxedo and the simple cloth mask; he almost felt like an anime character as it trailed behind him. He passed by a woman with an adorable smile, and gave her a gentleman's bow, but before he had fun with the ladies, he had a case of sobriety that desperately needed to be cured, and he headed straight for the bar. As he proceeded to obtain his refreshments, Yutaro did a double-take. No, he was not looking in a mirror; that guy ([@BeastofDestiny]) was wearing an outfit almost identical to his own. And, by the looks of it, he was going pretty heavy on the alcohol. Yutaro figured that there was nothing to lose in seeing what was up with his doppleganger, and maybe challenging him to a drink-off if he was in the mood. He took a seat next to the stranger, wondering if he would notice that they were wearing the same improbable outfit, and ordered a bourbon whiskey. "I see you're not wasting any time getting the party started," Yutaro said, throwing back his shot, already feeling the warmth coursing through his body.
