I actually think we'd all get along significantly better IRL. The protected veil disappears in that circumstance, and we could say "Hey bro, can so and so actually do this" aloud instead of through the harsh and barren words of text.

The obvious issue is having to ask things like that ruins surprises which ruins tension.
