"Evidently." the other forest elf grunted in response, raising an eyebrow in Mel's direction. "In future, don't waste your bandages on the enemy." Remaining silent, the she-elf simply brushed past him and began to head back in the direction of their village. The other members of the patrol brought up the rear, taking extra caution to encircle the Drow that they now held captive, to prevent any chance of his escape. As they spent much of their lives in the forest, it was no surprise to find that many of the forest elves' dwellings were in fact high up in the treetops. Without considerable agility and a penchant for climbing, one would have found it tricky at best to navigate their way to them. Such a lifestyle choice not only allowed them to see far off into the distance, giving them ample warning of any incoming hostiles, but also ensured that they could work around the natural structure of the trees and thus inflict much less damage to the environment that they so cherished.
