[hider]I doubt this. Whatever's been happening to Ironwood seems like it's long-resolved, and just something he utilizes the way anyone with a prosthetic does. I think Penny was Ironwood's attempt at creating an eternal Maiden who couldn't be killed under normal circumstances, to protect the powers from falling into the wrong hands. If things had gone wrong with Ozpin's pick, he would have proposed her for a candidate, the same way he got himself made head of security for the festival. Just another way of subverting the rest of the group in order to do what he thought was right.[/hider]
