With the situation neutralized, Optimus would be freed to focus on more pressing matters. Notably, the battle his allies were currently fighting. However, he didn't get more than a couple steps before some other being addressed him. Seeing as how it didn't want to fight, he deactivated his blasters. Though he was far from defenseless, it would at least show he wasn't hostile to an apparently neutral party. Not to saw he wasn't on guard. He could easily react should hostilities begin.

He did have a battle to fight, and there was little time for distractions. He did, however, have to admit that this being before him seemed to admit a peaceful aura.
