Anyway, fourteen hours later and I'm basically done with the skillset, wish, and history edits for Kei (that bio gets longer and longer every damn time I tinker with it). Having all the characters mill about without really knowing each other at the start of the roleplay tends to leave them to all gather up to the same place in a tangle, and while that has its merits, I think it might be worthwhile here for us to play who-knows-who (and how superficially) before we kick off so that the process of meeting feels a bit less chaotic. Having some prior connections between characters might also add a touch of depth to how relationships develop later. I'm not sure quite how to go about it other than just slipping PMs to players whose writing style we find interesting based on their character sheets, though.
