"edgy" - adj. [b][u]tense, nervous, or irritable[/u][/b] / at the forefront of a trend; experimental or avant-garde

I actually learned what "edgy" first was while looking for synonyms for "tense" on Google; used it to describe a movie during a movie/book combined analysis on King Lear a year ago and I didn't see the teacher taking points off of it.

But then I looked harder in the Internet and found "Ow the Edge" memes.
