"Why the bloody 'ell did yo' agree to do this you daft bastard?" The living mountain that was having such a horrid time was no other than Arty and he was currently towering by the front entrance to the masquerade ball. Normally Arty wouldn't have a problem with standing by a door as a flood people passed him, as a bouncer that was what he did for a living after all, but what he did have a problem with was the fact that he was now in a suit. To be fair it was a rather simple one at that, nothing more than a black dress jacket and trousers along with a white button up shirt and tie, but Arty wasn't happy with it none the less. "Curse the sod who made these damned things." He thought with a groan as he shifted his large frame, he was not enjoying all the restriction that this formalwear offered. The Irish man couldn't help but think with a grimace all this discomfort was because his boss, brick for brains Bickford Beauregard, was able to talk some party planer into giving him some extra money in exchange for providing security, ergo Art, for his party. "I sear one of these days Bick..." Arty grumbled under his breath and refocused on his job of looking out for trouble. Despite his less than pleasant demeanor at the moment Arty couldn't help but appreciate where he was and what was going on. Compared with wrangling the drunkards as LUSH standing guard at a masquerade ball was a breath of fresh air. The music was lively just like the people, the presence of actual dancing in lieu of grinding was also a nice change of pace, and the bar... ooooh Arty was definitely going to have to sneak off and give that a try eventually. Hell he even liked the mask he was given to wear, it resembled a lion, even though it made it a bit harder for him to see the whole crowd. And with these thoughts Arty was able to convince himself that he would be able to make it through the rest of this evening as well as fight his urge to rip off his clothes, well at least until he got home.
