[@Aisling] Founding a state isn't about the size. There are three things you need: Land that doesn't belong to any other state or that the other state has lost interest in, people, and a government. Such a state theoretically could be as large as Russia, or as small as your backyard.

Actually, Germany is smaller than Texas...
