Ryouko's head snapped to the side, his cheek bruised. His expression was too, of shock. Then, his face went back to its normal view. Yet, Ryouko still looked back at Kiiros and shook his head. '...I knew he wasn't all that bad. He felt bad for hitting me just now.' He spoke to Kiiros after a moment, his smile still present on his face. Ryouko was probably the only guy who would take a smack and still be calm. 

"...Kiiros, I understand. It's anger discharging from your body. Trust me, I've went through worse. Just grab the knife and c'mon, dude. I...wanna talk to you, too. Just a person to person talk."

He said this with a calm tone, showing he wasn't influenced by the backhand. In all honesty, he had suffered a lot worse. But so had Kiiros, most likely, to make him this way.

Ryouko understood what he could about Kiiros.
