[@ArenaSnow]my character will have pulled these 'kids' together by whatever way he can reach them, he might find laughings character on the street homeless for example, and there wont be an academy, if it gets to such a point he will take them in at his own house and train them to fight the dark creatures that inhabit the world. also I'm sorry that my time period is vague, I'm not exactly sure what time point is entirely ;p
