Garren's abilities: 
Tracking- Garren is able to track people and beasts over long distances for much longer and through varies obstacles (like going through a river won't throw off your scent to him) that a regular dog couldn't. Humans with no connections to beasts are the easiest for him to track and Tamers and Beasts have varying ranges of difficulty to track depending on things like abilities or if it's a beast if they're sealed or not (will lose the scent of a beast that is sealed).

Shadows- Garren can melt into the shadows and travel through them. Shadows must be connected and he is forced out if light hits the shadow.

Maria's abilities:

Nightvision: She can see in the dark. Her eyes turn red when this ability is active.

Her weapon is a bow and she can create bolts of lightning to shoot off. They take few moments to form so she can't rapid fire. This is the only way she can use electricity.
