The Norse Gods were the Germanic as well. Saxons, Danes, Swedes, even Britons worshiped more or less the same gods just with different pronunciations. The Slavic and Baltic gods weren't that different either; they have common themes like Thor. For whatever reason they all had to have some variant of Thor.
