After reading the first post I must say that I find the RP interesting. But before I start thinking about a character and joining in, I would like to ask a question or two.First. Are all law of physics (excluding the Cores and kages) the same as in our world? The first post does suggest so but I just want to be sure.Second. Does a character need to have a Kage? (Probably was asked before but just to make sure)Third. Are Cores and Kages the only fantasy stuff or there is more that I should know about?Fourth. What is the status of women in Leginia? Are they more emancipated then in our world? Less? Roughly the same?Fifth. Which level of computerized prosthetic organs and limbs does Leginia have? Can such prosthetic replacements be better then what are they replacing if they are expensive enough?Sixth. Does computerized AIs exists and in which forms (in supercomputers, on the WWW or as robots) they come?Last. What are the laws on civilians having demilitarized military vehicles (for example a tank which was stripped of it's weapons?) or producing vehicles which have everything a military vehicle has except weapons? AKA can civilians own tanks without guns? Before this is answered I will be unable the crystallize a character for you to evaluate. So until then I shall wait.BTW with your permission and regardless of me joining the RP I would like to try to draw and then use GIMP to digitize you a map of your world. If you wish that is.
1) Yes, all laws of physics are essentially valid for scenarios in which the influence of kages/cores/2nd and 3rd tier elements are not present. 2) No, a character does not need to have a kage, whether they are trapped in sovereign or not. Note, however, that kage bindings may still happen throughout the story. Kages can (although it's risky) switch hosts and they can wander as well, although not for long. 3) Besides cores and kages, the "fantasy stuff" is mainly sci go technology and monsters/creatures not found on Earth. You are free to make them up of course, treat them as you wish but for anything that's super epic or very peculiar/story driven, I would prefer permission before birthing a new species. 4) in Leginia (and all of Aeros in fact) there was never any form of sexism. Lore and ancient beliefs kept things in check. Man and Woman are both human, and that's all that matters. (But I would say they are more emancipated culturally at least, I.e no kitchen jokes, boys/girls sports. Physical differences are acknowledged to a reasonable extent) 5) Prosthetics are very readily available and advanced. Maybe through the use of cores? Science and research in Sanctuary is very broad and dispersed. People in one city may have means of replacing a limb much different from those in a different. I would say it is definitely possible to create a limb or organ more advanced than the original, organic one through the use of unique metals/technology/cores. Make shit up! 6) AI's are on the same level of those found in Earth when it comes to physical functioning AI. For data-based AI, you can think of it as Siri on crack- they are computerized minds that can respond to many different orders but aren't as sentient as... EDI or C3P0 per say. 7) Before the void gate opening? This would definitely have been illegal, unless the said person was head of an approved organization/faction. Only people like the golden mercenaries or such can legally even obtain a tank. But now? Law's are going down the toilet in most areas, anarchy is starting to brew. The military barely has time to make sure citizens aren't jacking their gear, so you could technically have one but it wouldn't be given to you with registration and insurance. Thanks for your interest! As for your offer, that's really dope of you, I would love to see what you can do. I'll be happy to answer any more questions at any time. Welcome to sanctuary! (Hopefully)
