This would be one of those moments Jorin would one day look back on with fondness... or maybe scorn depending on how things continued to proceed with Solaras, and he would remember they changed history. The hairs on his arms started to stand with anticipation, something those that actually knew him meant that his reflexes would become uncanny. "You know, it's weird... Normally I'm the one they call slime." The emphasis on the word they really spelled out how he felt about the New Republic. "If I started a war with Bespin, then I will personally fly a ship to the planet and blow the damned place up myself." Looking over into her eyes, the sheer confidence in his own abilities radiated blindly in them. "They will not stop the First Order, I will make sure of that." Continuing down the stairs at the pace they were headed, he wondered just where exactly everything was going to lead them from this point onward. "Though, I don't think anything will exactly matter after this point. This will mark the beginning of the War, you and I both know that. Let those that think they matter fight over which side they want to make alliances with as in the end it will not even matter. We both know that as well." "Oi! You watch your language. It's unbecoming of a lady to say the word whore." Jorin had to force himself not to chuckle as he looked at the knife she withdrew a knife from her thigh. "You know, most girls don't show this much skin before they really get to know a guy." His lips curled upwards as he slid into the seat next to her. "I think the new dress suits you a bit more. Matches the way you hold yourself in front of people when you don't have to pretend to be a different person." A few blaster shots flew through the sky above their heads as he groaned a bit. Now it was his turn to probably give her a surprise as he rolled onto his back in the seat, practically leaning over the middle and into her seat. "Sorry, gonna need a bigger gun for this." Reaching into the bottom of both legs of his pants, he slowly pulled out two pieces of metal and set them on the ground, as he pulled himself back into his own seat. The final major piece of the gun he had craftily broken into three parts was removed from his back, with the tape making him wince a bit. As another shot whizzed just a bit closer than the last two came over head, he sighed as he twist the metal into the proper places. Taking one deep breath, he actually placed his legs over the center console of the speeder and spun his body onto his stomach, while starting to aim with the E-11 that he had hidden on his body just on the chance of things getting out of hand. "I know this might sound a like I'm coming on to you, but when I need to reload, I have a clip in my pocket, and will need you to get it for me." Taking a deep breath, everything in the world seemed to slow around him once more as he pulled the trigger of the weapon he was wielding in the direction of the closest speeder that happened to be chasing them. The shot ripped through the sky as it blasted the steering wheel the driver was holding into nothingness. He watched the ship dive bomb towards the ground out of control, and then a small explosion seemed to emanate from somewhere on the ground, probably damaging a few buildings in the process. The world returned to full speed as he focused to see if any more were going to be chasing them after that.
