[@Loony] And you just watched them eat it?  XD  I used to be pretty great at making fried eggs, which a friend of mine would insist I do for them. I have a little sister who likes my cooking a lot too, I find that cooking for younger siblings is pretty nice as opposed to cooking for parents who often harp on the little details instead of just letting you make the dish they way you make it.

I know a thing or two about snapping mothers too, my mom can get pretty awful about it sometimes.  And yeah college is a big part of why I can't get better stuff, mostly I just can't afford it.  I don't know if I'm looking forward to getting out so I can finally get a job and start paying 200$ a month on my loans or dreading it.
