[u][b][color=662d91]Brief Bio:[/color][/b][/u] Kate was born to a rich Manhattanite family. Her parents were Derek and Elanor Bishop. She had a step-mother, Heather Bishop. She also has a older sister, Susan Bishop. Her mother, Elanor died while Kate was just a young girl. Her father remarried.

Just a few months before Susan was to be wed, Kate was attacked in central park. What happened, she hasn't old anyone other than her therapist. But it left her isolated and traumatized. Eventually with the help of therapy she decided she needed to learn how to defend herself. She learned and became proficient in swordplay, archery, and martial arts.

Kate encountered the Young Avengers for the first time at Susan's wedding. She ended up saving the Young Avengers (kind of from themselves). But they ran off and left her. Later that night in the hospital Cassie Lang approached Kate and together they invited themselves to the ruins of Avenger's Mansion. There they found the Young Avengers and basically [i]"Invited"[/i] themselves on to the group. The next fight saw Kate using Hawkeye's bow, Clint Barton was believed dead at this point. And she took on the name Hawkeye.
