"Note to self, don't take the short one seriously under any circumstance." Joran's voice rang with a playful tone, as this was just how he dealt with near death experiences. Make jokes that bring the level back down to a calm nature. Looking over at her with a smile now, he offered his other arm to her. "I figure you want to break this right about now." Looking into her eyes, as he knew she would turn to glare at him, he sighed. "However unlikely a duo we may be, it does seem we at least do work decently together. Though I doubt we will probably be paired back up again, I'm sure I will see you around. Small galaxy and all. I figure everything is going to be put into a more heightened pace, yes? So that will mean I will be sent out to get a few more recruits, and then sail off on something a little more interesting than that." Running over towards the machine, he immediately started the process of splicing wires while looking over towards her. "Would you kindly jump in and start it when I give you the signal?" He asked from behind the panel he had pulled off the underside of the ship that he had rolled underneath. "Come on... speak to me... tell me where..." Reaching through all the wires, he fiddled around a few more cords before finding the two he particularly needed.
