Apparently Jonathans name had preceded him before his reputation. “You seem to be mistaken as to my intent my good man.” He took something hanging off the back of his saddle, it looked like a coil of razor wire at first glance, but it had the unmistakable sheen of star-metal. “You see, I do not approach you as a passer-by, or some useless noble who watches idly as the land and the people are scoured by the blight.” He flicked the coil, and it unwrapped to its full length, a glistening snaking whip soared through the sky, and with another flick of jonathans wrist, it retracted in length, each segment clicking together into a massive shaft. “I approach you as a fellow hunter...” Jonathan proudly held his lance pointed skyward. “So... Do you still wish to simply dismiss me as some incompetent?” He asked the question while staring directly at the veteran hunter, as if challenging him to say yes.
