Short Bio: Mitch's parents were alive during the war and witnessed the rise of the authoritarian regime that assumed control over what remained of the United States. After the Nuke Putsch and the paranoid purges of state enemies that followed, Mr. and Mrs. Stanek understood that no one was safe. In order to protect themselves and their infant son from the government's random abductions, Mitch was enrolled in the junior training curriculum for the Department of Order as soon as he was eligible (the former Department of Justice). At the age of 16, Mitchell Stanek graduated from the academy as an junior officer within the Department of Order's Bureau of Loyalty - the group responsible for ferreting out homosexuals among other enemies of the state. 
Personality: Studious and humorless. He takes his post very seriously.
