The smell of rotting flesh and the smell of iron from the blood of the victims filled the air to such a degree that Jason too felt it. He shrugged as he spoke "So, you gonna finis that?" His joke was met with a equally snarky remark from the Dhampyr. Jason stood at the entrance to the room, looking around, the rune on his neck pulsating ever faster. "It's nest, sure.." He spoke, clearly not paying enough attention to what Charlie was saying, instead using his flashlight to look over the surroundings, the walls were painted with blood, whatever it was that had killed these people sure had a knack for making it as messy as possible. "Not exactly sanitary." Jason spoke, as Charlie discovered the peculiar rock, lifting it up and putting her ear to it she let him know it was in fact an egg. "So.. Do we make an omelette?" Feeling his rune pulsate with ever so more power, Jason was alerted just in time to duck down from where he stood as a razor sharp scale came towards him, the size of a sawblade, hitting the stone wall behind him, penetrating it and getting several inches deep into said wall, slicing a few strands of hair from his head, with a sound similar to the crack of a bullwhip and a flash of crimson light, Jason appeared next to Charlie, his knife in hand, the seven inch blade's inscriptions glowing. The slender spherical being with clawed arms rushed down from the ceiling in the other room, appearing in front of the two, where Jason had been earlier. Moving as quickly as a spider, yet in a way reminiscent of a snake. It opened it's mouth and hissed at the two, probably cursing the two hunters, glaring at Charlie. "You know, I somehow think it's mad at you.." Twirling the knife in his hand. He began running towards the serpent, vanishing and appearing above it, jamming the blade into it's torso, and quickly pulling the serrated blade out, causing dark liquid to poor out of the dragon as it cried in pain, before side-swiping Jason with the back of it's arm, the fins on it's arms expanded into wing like things, like a shield, hitting the hunter and sending him into the air, where he vanished only to appear next to Charlie again, knife in hand. "This is when you shoot it!" he shouted, his breath a little heavy, the taste of iron in his mouth from the hit he took.
