Cackling rn at the list. :lol That's a really sweet note regarding his relationship with his wife. Mind blowing sex and 1000% trust despite not knowing every detail. It's a pretty realistic take, especially how she's not created solely to provide tropey ~man-pain~. By that I mean you wrote his past connections well. So hella thumbs up 4 u :)
His wife, Arima, I think was her name (have way too many turians in my head), knew he had issues. His childhood reports aren't exactly a secret and she did get the basic gist of them, but didn't understand the depth of the trauma he went through. Hard for anyone to understand that without experiencing it themselves though with the ideas I gave the GMs, some might get the chance.
Dex... I would say is in a similar boat in terms of building emotional relationships or commitments, she doesn't trust easily. Her work as a spy made her cynical to the most extreme. She made a living off of selling secrets, while she would never regret the decision to start spying but it leaves something to be desired when it comes to commitment. On the same token she's not afraid to make connections. She could trust someone to know how to do their job but she couldn't trust just anyone with herself. Her relationship with Gal took a long time to build.
Vellios is rather hard, even for me to predict fully. I think he'll go one way, then randomly he'll take the risk. However, seeing him in a committed relationship is hard and doesn't feel right for him. I think the deep seated reason is he feels like he's staining Arima's, Kilia's, and Tiberian's memory by trying not to be alone.
Then again much like anybody who has gone a few months without sex her libedo wouldn't take much convincing. If Vellios isn't interested in an emotional relationship than I can see it working out. I'm still trying to figure out different aspects to her personality, so Vellios might not see her interested in any degree right away. I'd say it'd be an optimistic maybe.
Vellios is patient, very patient like a crocodile which is the scariest aspect of him.
